  • no i think he´s stolen taw´s pills. but the wiggles are kinda weird - actually super weird. i do believe they are aussies *hangs head in shame*

  • I´m glad I only watch the news in the mornings, tv sounds too strange these days. <img src=smilies/icon_smile_tongue.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle>

  • I would much rather have my small children watch The Wiggles than Barney or the Teletubbies. I´ve only seen it once but it seemed like a fun show for little kids. The funniest thing about it was that one of the guys was pitted out. That was when I figured out it came from Austraila. No one would be allowed to pit out in an American show (except for sports, or if it was on purpose) and the guys had straight teeth so I figured it didn´t come from England. Let´s get those missiles ready to destroy the universe!!

  • @Ugn. Are they like <b>Raffi </b>? Reason why I ask is because I´ve got a little one and am not looking forward to when she wants to get glued to the TV. Am hoping to be able to pry her away from it for long healthy chunks of time. <img src=smilies

  • Uh-huuh. So, when do the nice men in white coats come to take you to the happy hotel? <img src=smilies/icon_smile_big.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> ____________________________ Ohhh! Beu-tiful! Preeety! How do I blow it up? <img src=smilies/icon_smile_big.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle>

  • I guess that they are &quot;good clean fun&quot; for the kids, but I find their antics rather irritating. Also, I hate skivvies! (don´t ask <img src=smilies/icon_smile_big.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle>).

  • Shadow, don´t steal things from cartton network, they´re not worth it <img src=smilies/icon_smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle>

  • Just don´t sit your kid down n front of an episode of Boobah, that could seriously mess up a small childs head. Think Teletubbies, but the entire staff producing it are high. There´s swirling psychedelic colours and wierd furry spherical people who start to line dance while their heads pop in and out of their bodies and their huge eyes twitch from side to side. <img src=smilies/icon_smile_tongue.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle>

  • @Rec, Interesting you mention the psychedelic thing. I just saw a medical study, a real one which is beginning to connect early television viewing by kids with some forms of autistic abnormality. The study basically pointed to flashy and quick visual

  • I don´t really take much stock in these researchers that say little kids shouldn´t watch too much TV. I watched Sesame Street everyday until I was 6 or 7 (my mom laments the fact that there was no such thing as a VCR back then because she would have been able to let me watch Sesame Street all day), and I think I´m pretty well adjusted. I got a 3.8 in High School and I scored in the 99 percentile on the PSAT SAT and ACT, I was a National Merit Finalist, and I have a degree in Electrical Engineering. I don´t like to toot my own horn, but my point is TV didn´t ruin me. Let´s get those missiles ready to destroy the universe!!

  • Here you go Indy, the online <A href=´http://www.boohbah.com/zone.html´ Target=_Blank>Boohbah</a> experience. It´s strangely addictive <img src=smilies/icon_smile_tongue.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle>

  • @Ugn, I don´t think Sesame Street fit the description of what this study was about. Not sure but I think this was more in reference to flashy fast changing animation or cartoon shows. @Rec Thanks. Kind of fun to watch, actually. <img src=smili

  • Barney got a new actor i heard so i tuned in just for craps and giggles (<img src=smilies/icon_smile_big.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle>) and this guy is horrible! He sounded like a drunken hillbilly on marijuana Celso,is there a cushion glued to my butt?!not glued, super glued!!
