Running FLMM 1.5 but disappointed that the Hovis mod is not included. I believe this is the single most used Mod for the original Freelancer. Nevertheless, congrats to igniss for FLMM and Discovery.

FLMM was not build by igiss
the original creator of the mod manager was matthew lieder aka IGx89
version 1.5 was done by crazy (unfortunatly version 1.5 is not very reliable just like version 1.4 -> both are just beta versions)the last stable running version is 1.31

I don't understand why you guys say that 1.4 is bad, I use it and it works just perfectly! + it has a feature that changes restart.fl!
-
...and it messes up even the simpliest xml scripts

Are you sure? As I said, it works perfectly to me.
I think youre just being paranoid, because 1.5 has lots of bugs you think 1.4 also has, because both are beta.
The only thing tested as beta in 1.4 is the new feature of changing restart.fl, which has a small bug. -
Are you actually using XML scripts Polar?
-
Im 100% sure on that@pb
it is a well known issue for many years -
-
Because you probably never used a mod that really makes use of xml scripts
-
Actually, latest CF I have is 1.8 and it worked fine last time I installed it with 1.4...
I think you should stop trying to show me it has bugs. I BELIEVE YOU ! I just need the restart.fl feature.BTW is that a SWAT skin for FLMM?
-
That would be a windows theme.
-
Yeah, should have expected that from OP . Good job mate!
Is it for Win7? -
yes, a custom win7 skin (i never use normal stuff)
CF1.8 was optimized for FLMM 1.4 (several thousand changes done)
-
Agree with OP, 1.31 is the most stable. I use a lot of scripts and it royally messes things up using anything later. Also the restore backups feature is useless as it leaves practically everything sitting in your main FL folder which is a nightmare in itself.
-
Every FLMM messes up the original folders. This feature always was there :xD:
Theres that thing with "autodeletefolder.flmm", I never understood if its created by FLMM or you need to create one by yourself? I see those in mods, but also in the original folder...
FLMM is a mysteriouse thing :dos:
