Phrases/Things that annoy you

Dumb people annoy me, and it annoys me more how our society panders to them. Here´s an example. I had to buy a child safety seat recently and I kept hearing that 2/3 of people don´t install them correctly, so I wanted to make sure I did it right. I looked at the manual and it seemed pretty simple to me. So that left me with two alternatives: 1) even though it seemed simple to me it´s really hard to install one of these seats right and I didn´t do it right either 2) 2/3 of the people are too dumb to read and follow the directions that seemed simple to me. I wasn´t sure which alternative is right, then this morning they had a blurb on the news that tried to explain why so many people can´t install their seats right. The reporter´s explanation was that most of the directions are written at a 10th grade reading level and that´s too high for most people. They said 1/4 of the people who buy these seats read at a 5th grade level and most read at 8th grade level. What kind of idiots are we handing out drivers liscenses to? If you read at a 5th grade level how did they ever let you out of 6th grade? Do we really want to live in a world where all directions are written like "see spot run"? Have any of you guys run into this sort of thing? What I mean is do you ever have to sit down and have a doctor, or banker, or mechanic try to explain something to you and they start out talking to you like you´re a ten-year-old. Is that what it takes to explain stuff to large segment of the population? What happened to our education system? Do any of you remember having to read some of the Federalist Papers in school? When they first were written 200 years ago, most people could understand them, and were interested in them. What would a guys like James Madison, or Alexander Hamilton think of magazines like People, or the National Enquirer? They might want to know why they wasted so much effort making up the constitution for a bunch of dummies. Let´s get those missiles ready to destroy the universe!!

No I´m not black (but was brought up in Birmingham UK where a large number of people talk that way) Us in the Ghetto gotta word for ´em. Wiga´s! Things which I hate? Rhetorical (spelling?) questions! Little Kids who have an attitude problem. Groups of kids who get drunk on the street and try to cause fights (its always fun to catch one make ´em sqirm) When people decide to tell the world about misfortunes you may have encountered out of spite. When people refuse to co-operate. Cheats. Theres others, just can´t think at the minute. Oh yeah, People who refer to themselves in the 3rd person and act like a character from Japanese animations (Not that the SSJ would do that)

A lot annoy me. But let´s stick to the current issues: members of a certain Forum of a certain pc game who are so bored waiting for the release of the latest installment of the game´s series that they have to come lurking on our forums, take a quick glimpse, and then decide that our Forum is run fascistly and put links of our threads on their posts to point our obvious &quot;flaws&quot;. It´s their every right to do that, but get a friggin life, people! <img src=smilies/icon_smile_angry.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> They´re just projecting their anger over their inability to find a publisher. Sorry folks, but it´s really really not our fault that our Freelancer goes gold earlier than yours. I mean if it´s really the superior game than Freelancer that it is, then how come yours is not even considered by anyone?

Good point. Once some of these other games are released there will be objective ways to compare them with FL. Until then it would be nice if some of these people would keep quiet. Let´s get those missiles ready to destroy the universe!!

The most anoying thing in the ENTIRE WORLD for me is... Stupid Movies -Definition: Movie in wich people cause themselves all sorts of hardship because of doing somthing quite obviously stupid. And #2 would have to be bad drivers

the one thing that annoys me the most is people who take the p**s out of other peeps u know what maybe they take the p**s outta u so why dont u all get on with ure lifes and stop worrying how other people say boy or god who the hell cares !!!!!!!!!! why doesnt the space shuttle puncture heaven ??

1.MSN names with funny characters, misuse of capital and lower case letters, and include quotations or other similar media. It´s an MSN name, not a forum signiture... 2.ROFLMAO, ROFL, LOL, BRB, WTF, FFS, IMO, IMHO - they all SUCK to hell and back. So not only will I have to fix the bloody thing, he´ll expect me to provide free software along the way.

People who you generally do not mix with (at school) and suddenly seem to remember that your their &quot;best buddy&quot; and a &quot;legend&quot; as soon as they see I have money and they need some. Then forget about me the next day until They need money again. People you can´t carry on an intelligant conversation with (mainly online) People I know in real life who are more idiotic than YOUNGER people I meet online who are more mature. Newbies who think they are the best until you beat them, and then say &quot;lol...I had high ping&quot; (mainly other games than Freelancer) Or worse, newbies who think they are the best, so you have a game and lose with a perfectly legitamate reason (ping, msn opened up), but don´t want to make excuses because you don´t want to look like your....making excuses People less smart than me who are my age or older.
