We are actually not as harsh as we used to be. But if the main topic is spoiler based, then it would be either locked or turfed into the spoiler forum and that will be the case as long as we have a spoiler forum.

I wish some topics would just be <i>moved </i> where they belong instead of deleted. Some end up being quite interesting, and then just get completely locked down. If it was moved, it could at least continue.

Relaxing the no spoiler rule would be like allowing smoking in the no-smoking sections of resturaunts that already have smoking sections. To be fair, it´s not that people get upset about spoilers. It´s that people get upset about the spoilers being in the wrong place. It´s not a matter of content; it´s a matter of location. There is a place for spoilers. Spoil there.
