Someone update me on a few things

when calgary was up te was still hanging around newark. i only once saw a TE member somewhere else than at newark. and i can´t help you with the rest. i´ll think of something...someday i just thought of something...i think

TE-Cap-Chips (me, ya) TE hangs round Newark mainly as on Calgary it was a hotspot for pkers to attack noobs to the server. We responded to cries for help in ANY system that there was a problem in, and we also had a permanent presense in Gamma as well (it became another hotspot for trouble) The modders seemed to just sit in NY rather than playing, which invariably meant that they just attacked people in starfliers (noobs) or anyone else whilst they had an uber hull (yep - very manly of them...)hence why we ´sat´ around Newark so much. If we didn´t, or if we hadn´t had a presence there, then I am sure that calgary would have degenerated into general mayhem.......with noob killing being a prime cause. Anyways....i remember when you used to sit round manhat with your ubershield a couple of months ago doing the same thing (noob killing) so.............

Perhaps it´s the presence outside Manhattan that has decreased the pking there <img src=smilies/icon_smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> This won´t end like those anti-NEO ones because...well...TE doesn´t seem to have the playground-bully mentality, all things included.

TE is very good at what they do, but sometimes all they can do is be cannon fodder when dealing with modders, just so that others can escape, modders like Heretic by the way. They try to protect those who need it, but these people are not clairvoyant, if you´re having a problem you have to let them know. And yes they hang around Manhatten, because thats where the noobs are, and that´s where the pking cheating modwhores tend to infest looking for victims.

I have seen a few situations where there was a pker outside of the manhatten area in forst bush, detroit, norfolk, pittsburg, and west point. and everywhere else in liberty. HappyBunnyFriend, HappyBearFriend and a few others. And you know what? Even TE can´t beat them. You also know WHY? Because of the fact that they use <b>Uberhulls </b> No one can pierce Uberhulls atm. Atleast none that I know off. If someone keeps PKing you contact the nearest TE member. If you call out for help, I can say 100% sure that you <i>will </i> get help. There are alot of people hanging in NY because that´s where the PK action is. Not all non-TE´r just sit there and do nothing. There are lots of people that assist TE. Most of the Omicron PK action is done by people WITHOUT mods. They fight a fair fight. Oasis_Of_Death, The_Pirtate_King, [BWP} The Grinch and {BWP} Wolverine and known to shoot on sight there. None of them use mods.

Actually - to defend Heretic *gasp*, he did give up pking a long time ago now, and i mean several months!! Heretic also joined into the fight against bullying pkers, so i have no grief. Also, EVEN if they are uberhulled and speed modded, we still respond as fast as we can. SOMETIMES it is difficult as the person being pked doesn´t ask for help! Other times, they swear like mental, attack us and curse with every word under the sun. Someone then kills them a couple of times, and they moan. At that point, someone new to the server just hears ´TE - do something, i am being killed here´ - what that really should be is ´ARG - I was pking / dockcamping and now someone is doing it to me, I DON´T LIKE IT, ITS SO UNFAIR!!´ .At this point, some members of TE will try to reason with both parties, other members might not. Each member of the TE has been accepted into our organisation upon an application. We have over 100 members actively engaged in the TE. Each member will respond slightly different to others in a given situation. If there isn´t a senior officer to help the newer officers with direction, then sometimes mistakes might be made. Somone might get overlooked if pking occurs in NY (also- a NO pking system, another reason for our presence there). We do our best, and to show how? LTC Kirghiz launched constantly to be shot down for 2 hours by a modder.........WHY? It was so other players could move away, especially noobs. Some stay, that is their perogative, but others use the chance to go off clean and enjoy the game. THAT is our job, that is why we do it! Others like to kill, we try to protect TE-CAP-Chips

In those cases, have the people requested help? Have the TE already been engaged in another commitment at the time?

The person asked for help. No TE was not engaged in anything other than meaningless conversation.. Also there was one situation where there was a modder you could easily kill (THE01 never had ubershield or hull or cloak mod last time i saw him, all he had were uberguns, in a starflier, he was easily killed, but when he camps you, you have no chance. all this for cursing....) He camped me in rochester, i asked two TE i knew to help. They said &quot;ok&quot;. They didnt show. This went on for 10 minutes or so untill i tricked THE01 (simple-minded being he is) If your going to be a responsible clan on a server you have to uphold the server rules and help enforce them like NO PKING IN NEW YORK. Now i know cursing really isnt allowed on most servers. But the server hosts dont care to put it on the server news.
